Automated Spool Pack Out Project
AMT was hired as the expert automation team to work with a system integrator during the early engineering stages of a retrieval and palletizing project working with spooled glass products. The goal was to convert concepts developed and validated in a research project to production-capable equipment. The biggest barrier to overcome was the fact that the research project's documentation was rudimentary, and its prototype was ineffectual.
